Arts & Culture![]() West Oak Lane Jazz & Arts FestivalDates of Operation: 3rd weekend in June (annually) Description: OARC produces the annual West Oak Lane Jazz & Arts Festival in collaboration with Lifeline Music Coalition, Inc., Everett & Associates, the Art Noir Custom Framing & Art Gallery, Kevin E Sound Engineering and Productions and Festival Foods Management. The 7100-7400 blocks of Ogontz Avenue are transformed into a huge outdoor event to promote the West Oak Lane community and the commercial corridor to the surrounding communities and region. The Festival is three days of non-stop music on four stages, poetry/spoken word performances, dancers and artists, and a variety of vendors that offer food, crafts and fine art. The event has grown into an internationally known regional event with more than 500,000 people attending each of the last two years. RelishDays of Operation: Wednesday through Saturday, the restaurant opens at 5PM. Sunday, the restaurant is open 11AM - 3PM for Sunday Brunch. Diner on Sunday begins at 4PM. Art Noir's Lyrical WordDays of Operation: Thursday nights (weekly); 7pm - 10pm Description: Art Noir Custom Framing and Gallery is the venue for Fine Art, Opin Mic Poetry & Prose with weekly features and guest artists.
