Maintenance Technician

Position Summary: Responsible for maintaining all commercial and residential properties.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute work orders for maintenance and installation requests including, but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, general carpentry, and painting.
  • Complete work order forms and provide feedback to supervisor on project status
  • Keep properties clear of snow and debris
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Must be able to regularly lift 50 pounds or more

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Technical abilities in general maintenance and landscaping disciplines
  • Organized and efficient with excellent follow-thru
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of integrity
  • Able to work collaboratively with other departments and external contacts
  • Ability to meet deadlines

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Prior experience in maintenance and landscaping

Executive Assistant to the President and CEO

Job Summary: This is a full time position devoted to assisting the President/CEO in areas including but not limited to the completion of special projects and reports, calendar management and scheduling, preparation for and reporting on meetings, correspondence, filing, telephones, travel logistics, administrative and clerical tasks as assigned and other special events and duties as needed.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Provide a high-level of administrative support to the President/CEO
  • Manage all documents and records for the executive office including incoming and outgoing communication
  • Maintain extensive calendar in Outlook
  • Maintain an organized system of tracking, monitoring and prioritizing tasks and projects
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including internal executive meetings, Board of Directors meetings and Board committee meetings
  • Prepare reports, agendas, minutes and presentations for meetings
  • Assist with special projects, staff training and other general office tasks
  • Work closely with administrative assistants to build a cohesive team while exhibiting leadership qualities

Other Job Functions:

  • Handles sensitive issues that require confidentiality
  • Anticipates problems, critical issues and opportunities as they arise and advises the President/ CEO accordingly
  • Directs work to executives and senior management and follows up to ensure timely completion of assigned objectives
  • Manage inter-departmental communication and coordinates communication to and from the Executive Office

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Undergraduate business degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 3 – 5 years experience supporting a President/CEO, COO, or Executive Officer of a company
  • Ability to self-start, work independently, is innovative, exercises independent judgment and exhibits flexibility and creativity. 
  • Able to achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlines, set priorities and adapt to rapidly changing situations
  • Demonstrates ability to meet commitments in a timely manner while staying focused under pressure
  • Excellent communicator, including writing, speaking, editing and proofreading with great attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and database programming
  • Strong organizational and document management skills
  • Must have apparent credibility and integrity and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively with staff in a team-oriented environment  while exhibiting a high degree of professionalism, business judgment, tact and diplomacy
